Requirements

  • MBBS with valid registration from PMDC or PMC, or B.Sc Engineering (second division) in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Mechatronics, Automobile, Mining, City & Regional Planning or Transportation from an HEC recognized university with valid registration from the relevant council
  • Must clear medical screening and physical test conducted by the Punjab Emergency Service Department

One paper MCQ type written test of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration covering general ability including General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (General Knowledge for non-Muslim candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Basic Computer Studies. Physical standards: 25 sit-ups per minute; 25 push-ups per minute; running and jumping one mile in 8 minutes for males (12 minutes for males above 35 years) and 12 minutes for females; chest 33 inches (males only); height 5 feet 6 inches (preference); eyesight 6/6 without glasses; BMI below 30. Candidates must clear initial medical screening and physical test conducted by the Punjab Emergency Service Department before the written test, psychological assessment and interview.
