About this job

BS-18 Senior Registrar Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care post on contract basis for a period of 03 years, extendable on good performance, in the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Punjab, at various teaching hospitals in the Punjab. Advertised by the Punjab Public Service Commission under Advertisement No. 07/2026, Sr. No. 92, Case No. 07-RD/2026.

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission
  • Registered with the Pakistan Medical Commission
  • FCPS, MD, CCT or Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification in Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission
  • Alternatively FCPS, MD, CCT or Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification in Paediatric Critical Care Medicine or Paediatric Cardiology recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission
  • Punjab domicile

Details
No experience is required; eligibility is based on the prescribed post-graduate qualification in Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care or, if unavailable, in Paediatric Critical Care Medicine or Paediatric Cardiology. Conditions of experience: only practical experience in a recognized institution issued by the appointing authority or PMDC/PMC after the prescribed qualification is considered, supported by appointment letters, notifications or office orders. Government sector contract, current charge, acting charge and ad-hoc experience is accepted if issued by the appointing/competent authority or PMDC/PMC. OPS/designated (up to 17.06.2021 only), BOM, TTS and university cadre experience is considered only if recognized and issued by PMDC/PMC. Foreign, autonomous body and private institution experience is accepted only if recognized and issued by PMDC/PMC.
