Requirements

MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission
Registered with the Pakistan Medical Commission
FCPS, MD, CCT or Diplomat American Board in Paediatric Endocrinology or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission
Alternatively FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH or Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics with one year experience in Paediatric Endocrinology in a nationally or internationally accredited training programme, or with two years' experience in Paediatric Endocrinology after post-graduation in Paediatrics

Details: No experience is required with the primary qualification in Paediatric Endocrinology; alternative routes require one year experience after post-graduation in Paediatrics in an accredited training programme, or two years' experience in Paediatric Endocrinology. Conditions of experience: only practical experience in a recognized institution issued by the appointing authority or PMDC/PMC after the prescribed qualification is considered, supported by appointment letters, notifications or office orders. Government sector contract, current charge, acting charge and ad-hoc experience is accepted if issued by the appointing/competent authority or PMDC/PMC. OPS/designated (up to 17.06.2021 only), BOM, TTS and university cadre experience is considered only if recognized and issued by PMDC/PMC. Foreign, autonomous body and private institution experience is accepted only if recognized and issued by PMDC/PMC.
