Requirements

  • Intermediate or equivalent (2nd division) from a recognized Board
  • Speed of 70 words per minute in shorthand in English and 35 words per minute in typewriting in English
  • Computer literate in MS Office
  • Preference for Urdu shorthand at 60 w.p.m. and Urdu typing at 25 w.p.m.

Shorthand and Typing/Proficiency Test: speed of 70 words per minute in shorthand in English and 35 words per minute in typewriting (English). Candidates who qualify the English shorthand test are called for the English typing and proficiency test on computer at a ratio of 1:20; those who qualify are then called for the Urdu shorthand test at 60 w.p.m. and Urdu typing at 25 w.p.m. (for preference). Shorthand and Typing/Proficiency Tests are held only at Lahore.
