About this job
Job Specification: • Support the CTO in implementing the organization’s technology and infrastructure roadmap. • Manage day-to-day data center operations, including maintenance, capacity planning, and performance optimization. • Assist in the design, deployment, and upgrade of infrastructure to ensure scalability and resilience. • Monitor network, storage, and compute environments, ensuring uptime and security compliance. • Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement, maintenance contracts, and SLA compliance. • Maintain technical documentation, asset registers, and compliance with ISO and Tier certification standards. • Assist in incident management, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. • Support integration of emerging technologies such as AI, Quantum, and IoT into existing infrastructure. • Participate in R&D collaborations, proof-of-concept testing, and innovation projects. • Ensure cybersecurity best practices, data protection, and regulatory compliance (PECA 2016, PSS & ISO standards). • Prepare technical reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for senior management review. • Perform any other tasks assigned by management. Qualifications: • MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field from an HEC-recognized university. • PhD will be preferred • Certifications such as CCIE/CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent Data Center certifications are desirable. • Knowledge of Cloud Architecture, Cybersecurity and Emerging Technologies (AI / Quantum Computing / IoT) will be an advantage.. Experience: • Minimum 10-12+ years of professional experience in technology operations, data center management, or infrastructure engineering. • Proven record in system implementation, server/network management, and IT infrastructure planning. • Hands-on experience in Data Center operations, virtualization, cloud integration, and cybersecurity protocols. • Exposure to emerging technologies, research computing, or digital transformation projects preferred. • Strong team leadership, vendor coordination, and project execution skills.
